Flitwick Surgery are looking for an experienced and dedicated urgent care practitioner to join our team on a part-time basis for four days a week. The post-holder will work alongside our GPs and multi-disciplinary team, via telephone or face-to-face assessment, to provide patient care for minor illness. There is scope to extend your interests with the management of chronic diseases and/or women's health to include sexual health and HRT.
The post holder will need to act within their professional boundaries, providing care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of their care.

Flitwick Surgery is a GP practice with a list size of 14,500 and is run from a purpose-built medical centre with onsite parking for staff. We are a semi-rural dispensing doctor partnership with easy access for commuters from a wide area (on a direct train line to London, 25 minutes from Milton Keynes or 15-20 minutes from the M1 or A6).
We are a patient focused surgery with a multi-disciplinary supportive team including 4 GP partners, 5 salaried GPs, a nursing team including a minor illness nurse, practice nurses and HCAs. We also have a strong practice pharmacy team with clinical pharmacists and a pharmacy technician. Alongside this we are part of a PCN and supported by PCN pharmacists, FCP physios, a paramedic and a health & wellbeing Coach. We are also actively engaged in national research projects.
