Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils in PRUs, SEMH provisions, and alternative education settings.
  • Assist with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) support.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group interventions as needed.
  • Help pupils stay engaged, confident, and motivated.
  • Build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Implement strategies to manage challenging behaviour.

Your Role Will Include:
  • Supporting pupils in PRUs, SEMH provisions, and alternative education settings
  • Assisting with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) support
  • Providing one-to-one or small group interventions where required
  • Helping pupils stay engaged, confident, and motivated in their learning
  • Building positive and trusting relationships with students and staff
  • Implementing strategies to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour effectively
  • Contributing to safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environments

Previous experience working with children, young people, or in care/support roles is desirable but not essential.

  • Two professional references covering the last 24 months
