A healthcare provider in March seeks an experienced Unit Lead to manage a care team and ensure outstanding resident care. This full-time position requires a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care and previous supervisory experience. Responsibilities include hands-on care, mentoring staff, and overseeing compliance with care standards. Location: Wendreth Court, March, PE15 8QT - Residential Care Home
Hours: Full-time, 36 or 48 hours per week, including alternate weekends
Salary: £14.25 per hour + a range of health and wellbeing benefits
We’re looking for a dedicated Unit Lead to lead our care team and ensure the delivery of outstanding resident care. This is not a supernumerary role – you will lead by example, working hands-on alongside your team to deliver compassionate, personalised care every day. As Unit Lead, you’ll manage the day-to-day running of the unit, mentor and help to develop staff, oversee care plans, and ensure compliance with CQC standards. You’ll also work closely with our Home Manager, Deputy Manager, and other department heads to make Thimbleby Court the best it can be for residents and staff alike.
