Are you passionate about employment tax and looking for an opportunity to work with a forward‑thinking, tech‑enabled professional services group? I am seeking a UK Employment Tax Advisor to join a dynamic team that delivers tailored advisory solutions to clients across multiple sectors. This role can be based in Aberdeen, Glasgow or Edinburgh with hybrid working on offer.

The Role

As a UK Employment Tax Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting clients and senior team members with complex employment tax matters. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with day‑to‑day client engagements, ensuring compliance and technical accuracy.
  • Supporting projects related to PAYE, NIC, benefits in kind, CIS, termination payments, and IR35.
  • Conducting technical research and preparing advisory reports and tax calculations.
  • Engaging with clients on UK employment tax developments and compliance checks.
  • Mentoring junior team members and contributing to the team’s success.
What you will need to succeed
  • Strong organisational and workload management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Ideally ATT or CTA qualified (or working towards qualification).
  • Previous experience in employment tax advisory or compliance.
  • Exposure outside of Big 4 firms is welcome.
