UAT Tester Contract
Remote (UK-based candidates preferred; proximity to Reading or London advantageous)

About the Role

Clariter Group is looking for a skilled UAT Tester to join an important client project. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on UAT activities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions. The role is full-time for a minimum of 3 months (mid-October to mid-January).

Responsibilities

Review and analyze system requirements and technical specifications.

Create and maintain test scripts for manual execution.

Execute test cases, track results, and report findings clearly and effectively.

Perform UAT for web and app solutions, covering new functionality, bug fixes, and version updates.

Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.

Requirements (Must-Have)

Valid BPSS security clearance.

Full-time availability for mid-Oct to mid-Jan.

Excellent communication skills with fluent English (spoken and written).

Proven experience in manual UAT testing (automation knowledge is a plus but not essential).

Ability to produce test scripts from technical specifications/design documents.

Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and test management tools.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

Experience with compatibility and/or accessibility testing.

Familiarity with Jira, database concepts, SQL queries, XML, Linux commands.

Prior exposure to the UK rail industry.

Knowledge of Italian (spoken/written).

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

Additional certifications such as CSTE, ITIL, FL, CTFL, PMP, ISEB, IAT are a plus.
