Overview

Pengwern College is looking to enhance the quality of education for our students and is seeking a talented and experienced Tutor to join the team.

About Us

Cambian Pengwern College is an independent provider of specialist further education in North Wales, offering day and up to 52‑week residential placements for young people aged 16 to 25 with a learning disability and complex needs. Our person‑centred approach ensures that students have an individualised learning programme that effectively matches their needs, personal decisions and aspirations, with a focus on daily living skills, vocational qualifications and independent living. Responsibilities

• Teach a person‑centred curriculum in innovative and engaging ways.
• Deliver high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment to underpin high levels of achievement for all learners.

Qualifications and Experience

• Recognised teaching qualification and experience.
• Experience of working with and teaching learners with learning difficulties, disabilities and/or challenging behaviour.
• Experience of, or exposure to, ESTYN & CIW (preferred).
