Circa £20.10 per hour (Outside IR35) OR £18,318 per annum (Pro Rata)

Our client is the online arm of a public university which are expanding their team of Online Tutors to support students studying Criminal Justice programmes. The successful candidate will have a Doctorate or MSc in Criminal Justice and have experience in online tutoring of students. You\'ll play a key part in delivering high-quality online teaching, assessment, and academic support. You\'ll help students succeed by guiding their learning, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring an inclusive and engaging learning experience. There is also likely to be an opportunity in the future to become the project lead for the delivery of the Criminal Justice course.

Key responsibilities
  • Delivering online tuition and marking assignments.
  • Monitoring student progress and proactively supporting learners who need extra help.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for module-related advice.
  • Supporting study skills development and welcoming new students.
  • Using digital tools and specialist software to teach, communicate, and administer effectively.
Skillset/Experience required
  • Doctorate or MSc in Criminal Justice. Experience in a similar professional environment is advantageous.
  • Experience of online teaching in Higher Education.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning and study skills.
  • Ability to support learners from diverse educational, cultural, and professional backgrounds.
