Are you an experienced CNC professional looking for a rewarding leadership role? We are seeking a dedicated Turning Cell Leader to join our dynamic team. If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and have a passion for precision engineering, we want to hear from you!

Position: Turning Cell Leader
Reporting To: Machine Shop Manager
Working Hours: 08:00 – 16:30 (Friday 15:30), with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and a 15-minute paid tea break. Overtime may be available.
Salary: £18.00 per hour
Holiday Entitlement: 25 days plus Bank Holidays

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, program, set, and operate CNC machines for turning and drilling operations
  • Load raw materials and parts onto machines efficiently
  • Inspect and measure finished products against specifications
  • Conduct daily checks and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations and company standards
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 standards
Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience in CNC setting and programming, especially with Fanuc/G-code
  • Skilled in using precision measuring equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and engineering documentation
