Job description

This leading offshore law firm is looking for an accomplished Trust and Private Client lawyer to join its growing Private Wealth team in the Cayman Islands. This is an outstanding career opportunity that also promises significant financial and lifestyle benefits for the successful applicant.

You will be advising an international client base of UHNW individuals, family offices and other associated financial institutions, on all aspects of non-contentious and semi-contentious trust, wealth management and private client work.

Requirements

• Overseas qualified lawyers must be admitted (Barrister or Solicitor) in the UK or an equivalent Commonwealth jurisdiction (such as Australia, New Zealand or Canada).
• Likely to suit someone with 3‑5 years’ PQE (minimum 3 years’ PQE required for work permit).
• Experience advising (U)HNW clients on complex trust, private client and wealth management matters. This is a client facing role so you will also need to be a confident communicator who will relish the opportunity to contribute to business development.
• Some experience of contentious trust and estate work would be beneficial but is not essential.
