NXA are proud to be partnering with a national transport operator to find a Shift Manager on an initial 9 month contract with a strong chance of the position going permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out day‑to‑day driver planning and management for a national trunking operation
• Ensure that all drivers are compliant with legalities including working time directives
• Drive operational performance of an experienced team of drivers
• Conduct performance reviews and work with drivers on Root Cause Analysis
• Drive key metrics such as fuel usage, service provision and productivity

Skills you will need:

• Experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity within a logistics function
• A managerial CPC is an advantage
• A proactive attitude to problem solving
