Overview

Are you a logistics professional with a passion for fast-paced environments and time-sensitive solutions? We’re looking for a Transport Planner - Logistics to join our clients European Transport planning team in Redditch. This is a permanent opportunity for someone who thrives under pressure, communicates with confidence, and delivers results with precision.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Managing customer enquiries and orders via phone and email
  • Booking, quoting, and tracking UK & EU shipments
  • Offering multiple transport solutions including airfreight and hand carry
  • Handling line stoppage scenarios with urgency and accuracy
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Closing out job files with all required documentation
  • Reviewing transport routes to maximise profitability
  • Ensuring clear communication with the warehouse for returns and dispatches
  • Maintaining system accuracy and supporting invoicing processes
  • Monitoring KPIs and escalating issues where necessary
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in logistics or freight forwarding, ideally with OEMs or tier 1 suppliers
  • Strong understanding of European transport planning
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay focused under pressure
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a drive to get the job done right first time
  • Computer literate with good knowledge of MS Office
  • CPC qualification is a bonus, but not essential
  • Second language is an advantage
