Transport Manager - Food Industry
Liverpool
£35,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

5am/6am - 1pm/2pm SHIFT

I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Manager to join a well-established foodservice business in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership and compliance experience to take ownership of a busy transport operation.

The role involves early starts, but this also means early finishes. You'll be managing a fleet of around 40 vehicles, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and excellent service delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage daily delivery and collection schedules.
  • Lead, motivate, and support a team of drivers.
  • Ensure all vehicles are maintained and compliant.
  • Monitor and enforce EU and WTD regulations.
  • Keep accurate transport records in line with DVSA and company requirements.
  • Work with senior management to achieve depot targets.
  • Continuously improve efficiency across the transport operation.
Requirements
  • Full Driver CPC qualification.
  • Multidrop preferred.
  • Transport Manager CPC qualification.
  • Proven leadership experience within transport/logistics.
  • Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Resilient, proactive, and able to work independently.
