A respected independent consultancy in Bristol is seeking a Transport Consultant to join its team. You will prepare transport assessments, liaise with clients, and contribute to various transport projects. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, at least two years of experience, and proficiency in essential software. Job Summary: An established and well-respected independent consultancy is seeking a Transport Consultant to join its growing Bristol office. Reporting directly to a Director, you will contribute to a range of development planning and transport projects across multiple land uses. Your responsibilities will include preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Technical Notes, and Travel Plans to support planning applications. You will review site layout plans, provide highways and access advice, analyse traffic and speed survey data, calculate visibility splays, and prepare associated drawings using AutoCAD.
You will attend design team meetings, liaise with clients, consultants, and local authority officers, coordinate traffic and parking surveys, and undertake site visits and off‑site meetings where required. This role offers excellent variety, responsibility and clear scope for progression.
