Transport Administrator

Menzies Distribution have an immediate start available for a Transport Administrator to join us, providing a first class service with our team in Wednesbury.

What You Really Want To Know:
  • Salary: £25,484.71 Per Annum / £12.21 Per Hour
  • Shift:Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 08:00-17:00
  • Location: Wednesbury
  • Parking onsite

What your day will look like:
  • Completing creation, referencing and data input.
  • Using various systems such as ESP, Blujay, Transporeon, etc to input data.
  • Engage with both external and internal customers by communicating in a friendly and professional manner ensuring that a good impression is maintained at all times.
  • Answering and responding to all incoming calls in an appropriate time frame.
  • Ensure all internal/external customer queries or concerns are dealt with in a professional, friendly and courteous manner.
  • Liaising with the management team ensuring the smooth operation of the transport department.
  • Ensure all inbound/outbound paperwork is completed promptly and accurately
  • Monitor and chase documentation in support of the transport operation.
  • Produce statistics as and when required.
  • Undertake administrative and filing duties to meet needs of the Transport Department.
  • Maintain a harmonised people and customer focused team working environment always seeking opportunities to improve our stakeholder’s experience.
What we need from you:

  • Good Understanding of written and spoken English.
  • Computer Numeracy -including accuracy.
  • Excellent computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Word & Excel)
