Barrow Upon Soar

£27,000 - £29,000 p/a

Monday to Friday, Afternoons (2pm10:30pm)

Were looking for an experienced administrator or coordinator to join a busy logistics operation in Barrow Upon Soar on the outskirts of Loughborough. This is a full-time role working the afternoon shift within a supportive and friendly transport team. This role is offered initially on a temporary basis however permanent opportunity after completing qualifying time period.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Supporting the smooth running of daily transport operations
  • Assisting with driver briefs/debriefs and allocating workloads
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating transport systems
  • Communicating with drivers, customers, suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues quickly
  • Ensuring compliance with company and industry standards
  • Other Ad Hoc office duties.

About You

  • Ideally we are looking for somebody with experience within a transport / logistics setting with knowledge of Driver's WTR however other relevant work experience will be considered.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Flexibility to work the set afternoon shift pattern (2pm 10:30pm)
  • IT literacy and ability to learn new systems
  • Understanding of health and safety standards in transport (advantageous)
  • Fluent in English both verbal and written
