Job description

CK Group is recruiting for a Training Specialist (blood glucose & ketone solutions) to join a company in the medical devices industry on a contract basis for 6 months with a possible further 6 months extension.

Salary

Paying between £185 - £240 per day PAYE.

Training Specialist Role
  • Deliver Expert Training: Provide and record product training for internal and external customers, ensuring compliance with our client’s standards.
  • Customer Support: Handle training-related inquiries, from product installation to ongoing contract support, offering occasional troubleshooting and technical assistance as needed.
  • On-Site Activities: Support hardware/software implementations during product launches.
Requirements
  • Background in nursing.
  • Knowledge of Primary/Secondary Care organisations within the NHS, ideally in a hospital environment.
  • Experience in designing and delivering high-quality, customised training programmes aligned with patient pathway strategies.
  • Demonstrates depth of scientific knowledge, both theoretical and practical, in a medical setting.
  • Strong communication, time management, and decision-making skills.
  • Full UK/EU (or equivalent) driving license.
  • Passport for potential overseas training.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English.

Location

This role is field-based working across the central belt of Scotland, in particular Lanarkshire and Glasgow. There will be regular travel across the region, including possible overnight stays and occasional unsocial hours to meet business requirements.
