We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic individuals to provide professional expertise to shape and provide the building blocks for the pharmacist workforce of the future. The role will involve working with trainees, education, training and development leads, and pharmacy employers across the region to ensure consistency, standardisation, and quality management of the Pharmacy Foundation Training Programme in the South West.

Under the direction of the Pharmacy Foundation Training Lead this post supports trainee pharmacists across the South West to:
The post holder will have a base at an NHS England office location but may be required to work at other locations within the South West from time to time. You will have the opportunity to work remotely as determined by the changing needs of the business.

Earlier this year, the Government announced that NHS England will gradually merge with the Department of Health and Social Care, leading to full integration. The aim is to create a smaller, more strategic centre that reduces duplication and eliminates waste.
If successful at interview, we will initiate an Inter Authority Transfer (IAT) via the Electronic Staff Record (ESR). This retrieves key data from your current or previous NHS employer to support onboarding, including competency status, Continuous Service Dates (CSD), and annual leave entitlement.
