Overview

Location: Hybrid, with occasional travel to the office in Birmingham

Working Hours / Contract Type: 37.50 hours per week, 12 months fixed term contract

Salary: £25,624 - £31,300 per annum depending on experience

Here at Serco we are looking for a Training and Development Administrator to join our team. The Training & Development Administrator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and accurate tracking of employee training and development activities across Justice & Immigration. This role involves managing data systems, supporting training logistics, generating reports, and ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Justice and Immigration Training and Development Team, to ensure accurate tracking of employee development and mandatory training.
  • Manage, track, and analyse training data including training needs analysis, attendance records, evaluation metrics, and reporting dashboards.
  • Maintain accurate records in learning management systems (LMS) or other training databases such as the data tracker.
  • Support the analysis and reporting of training metrics, KPIs, and compliance statistics.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and data summaries for key stakeholders.
  • Act as a point of contact for training-related queries from staff and external providers.
  • Support the coordination of training events, workshops, and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and reporting standards, handling information in line with GDPR regulations, with confidentiality and integrity.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying areas for process efficiency.
  • This role is designed to support service development across integrated services. Depending on workload, the role may also assist other departments with data management and collation.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in an administrative or data support role, ideally within HR, training, or learning & development.
  • Strong data entry and record-keeping skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); experience with LMS or similar systems is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
