Location: Hybrid - This role offers a Hybrid Approach to Working. Occasional travel to various offices/ schools nationwide and our Head Office in Bromsgrove will be required as part of this role

About You

As an experienced trainer with a wealth of experience particularly in delivering training in schools and educational settings, you will work collaboratively with internal colleagues to develop and deliver bespoke training to meet business demands in both a classroom and online (webinar) setting. You will proactively apply learning theories and practice to design and develop innovative training courses in a structured and well written format.

The successful candidate will develop and produce high quality learning resources for use within the virtual learning environment, to support classroom and blended learning courses, whilst taking a proactive role in the design and preparation of all courses.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with an engaging manner that is able to communicate confidently to audiences, both virtually and in a classroom setting. You will be self-motivated, enthusiastic and lively with the ability to build relationships, identify opportunities and create solutions. You will be flexible as occasional twilight/ early evening sessions will be required.

  • Certificate in Training Practice (CTP) or Teaching (7307, PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS) or Assessor/ CAVA qualified
  • Dedication to own professional development
  • A high level of ICT skills relevant to the creation of high quality training and learning resources
  • Proven experience in delivering training in 1:1, classroom and online settings
  • Experience of using a virtual learning environment (e.g. Moodle, Totara)
  • Working with external providers and/or partnership learning organisations
  • Thorough understanding of the learning & development sector, best practice and technology
  • Enthusiasm and desire for engaging with audiences of all sizes
  • Excellent verbal communicator and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Attentive listener
  • Able to work & communicate as part of a team
  • Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and recording on a CRM system
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work flexibly to meet business needs.
