Responsibilities
  • Repair and servicing of electronic devices, including barcode readers, point of sale (PPS) devices, monitors, computers, and chip and pin (payment) devices.
  • Managing spare parts usage using our IT database system.
  • Testing units to meet quality control procedures.
  • Co‑operation with logistics and production support departments.
Candidate Requirements
  • Broadly understood knowledge in the field of electronics, basics of building computers and electronic devices.
  • Basic knowledge of computer science.
  • Additional advantage: education in electronics/electrotechnics and experience in electronics repairs and maintenance.
Personal Skills
  • Proficiency with small hand tools/soldering and eye for detail.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and achieve high‑quality standards.
  • Competent with working alone on computers, including using specialist manufacturer calibration programs (training provided).
  • Knowledge of taking apart and working with computers, mobiles or electrical devices.
