As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you'll channel your sales drive and commercial mindset into recruitment—learning how to run a full desk, win new business, and place top talent with leading clients.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Business Development: Use your sales skills to win new clients through calls, emails, and meetings.
  • Lead Generation: Prospect and qualify opportunities, turning warm leads into lasting client partnerships.
  • Account Growth: Develop existing accounts by identifying cross-selling opportunities and building strong relationships.
  • Talent Acquisition: Learn to source, qualify, and place candidates across technical and engineering markets.
  • Creative Sourcing: Use innovative sales-style outreach to attract top candidates (Boolean search skills are a plus).
  • Pipeline Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and clients to ensure repeat success.
  • Target Driven Delivery: Work to KPIs and revenue goals, ensuring consistent performance.
  • Full Recruitment Cycle: Manage the process end-to-end—from first client call to final placement.

What We're Looking For
  • Sales Background: 1-2 years of proven experience in a sales environment (inside sales, telesales, business development, insurance sales, etc.), with that classic “smile and dial” attitude.
  • Location: Must be based in Manchester and able to work in a hybrid model (office + home).
  • Work Authorisation: Must have valid authorisation to work in the UK (NES Fircroft cannot provide visa sponsorship).
  • Resilient & Driven: Goal-oriented, competitive, and hungry to exceed targets and deliver results.
  • Confident Communicator: Comfortable handling objections, booking meetings, and influencing decision-makers.
