Overview

Our NHS Talking Therapies services in Hounslow and Ealing are recruiting Trainee PWPs as part of the access to Talking Therapies training programme. This is a full-time Band 4 NHS position while you study, and training course fees are funded by the NHS. PWP training is provided by University College London (UCL) and is full time. You’ll be employed and paid by us, attending university 2 days per week and working in one of our services the remaining 3 days. We are looking for candidates who share the West London NHS Trust Values - Togetherness, Responsibility, Excellence and Caring.

Responsibilities
  • You’ll help deliver brief structured supported psychological treatments, such as guided self-help, for people with anxiety and depression across the adult age range.
Qualifications
  • Experience of working with people with psychological, interpersonal or social problems; this can be through employed positions or formal volunteer roles.
  • This course is a postgraduate certificate; you’ll need to demonstrate the ability to study at postgraduate level, either through degree-level education or demonstration of academic equivalence.
