A healthcare provider in the UK's NHS is seeking a motivated Pharmacy Assistant to support dispensing duties and patient care. The successful candidate will handle inpatient prescriptions and contribute to the discharge process. Working under supervision, you'll gain valuable experience while pursuing a Level 2 pharmacy qualification. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual interested in developing skills within hospital pharmacy services. You will gain experience in the pharmacy dispensary and clinical service whilst working towards a Level 2 qualification in pharmacy. Previous pharmacy experience would be an advantage, however full training will be provided to the successful candidate. Applications are also welcomed from candidates that already hold a recognised Level 2 qualification in pharmacy. These applicants, if successful at interview will be appointed at a band 3. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. It is essential that you are able to adapt to changing demands and be committed to providing a high quality patient focused service. Candidates must have GCSEs in Maths and English at grade C/4 or above or an equivalent qualification. Candidates must also meet the essential criteria of the person specification.
