My client is growing and are looking for a Trainee Hose Engineer to join their growing team. Trainee Hose Engineer

Location: Bolton

£22,000 - £26,000 (DOE)

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Provide support with stock orders in line with Management requirements.
  • Maintain and keep clean all work areas.
  • Ensure waste is stored correctly.
  • Assembly and testing of hose assemblies to the bespoke customer specifications.
  • Serving at the trade counter.
  • Ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly.
  • Attend all staff meetings – weekly and monthly.
  • Be aware of HSE requirements in store and on site.
  • Attend site as and when required to do so.
  • Ensure the maintenance of all safety equipment.
  • Check all goods outwards are correct before despatch.
  • Quality checks for all goods coming in.
  • Meet delivery deadlines and inform management.

  • Be flexible and able to provide cover if required.
  • Have an interest in engineering.
  • A good basic knowledge of Hydraulics is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Physically able to assemble hydraulic hoses using machinery on site.
  • Good understanding of HSE.
  • A drive to progress and develop.
