A regional healthcare trust in England is seeking dedicated individuals for Trainee NHS Talking Therapies High Intensity Therapist positions. This role provides the opportunity for intensive training alongside skilled therapists, focusing on High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Full-time commitment is essential, with training beginning in March 2026. Successful candidates will later qualify for a permanent role as High Intensity CBT therapists upon completing the training. Please note due to delays in confirmation of funding this post is being advertised at extreme short notice. The course is due to commence at the beginning of March 2026 and applicants need to be able to attend university by then.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated, enthusiastic and innovative individual to join RDASH Talking Therapies. We have 2 positions available, 1 with NHS Doncaster Talking Therapies and 1 with NHS Rotherham Talking Therapies.
As a trainee High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapist you will gain the opportunity to learn and work alongside a highly skilled and diverse team of therapists.
Please note that this is not a remote‑only post and you will be required to have face‑to‑face clinics.
In this role, you will provide High Intensity CBT interventions whilst undertaking a programme of training which commences in March 2026 in collaboration with the University of Sheffield. The post is full‑time (37.5 hours).
This role is fixed term for 12 months, which will become a permanent band 7 High intensity CBT post on successful completion of the course.
