Overview

We Are Change is a remote learning programme supporting individuals to achieve their CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning; a Level 4 qualification which is the springboard to all career paths within financial services. If your application is successful, you’ll be enrolled onto a training programme that supports you in studying for the six exams that make up the Diploma, as well as a supportive community.

Is this for me?

The key traits needed for this training programme are the will to succeed: commitment, dedication and true-grit determination. There’s approximately 370 hours of study involved over a 2-year period, so if you’d like to spend about 3.5 hours a week changing your life for the better, then yes, it’s for you.

You’ll be working through a Level 4 qualification, and although there are no entry-level stipulations, a good foundation of written English and maths is an absolute must.

What’s the catch?

There isn’t one. The Verve Foundation is keen to remove barriers to entry, including the financial commitment to undertake the Diploma. We work hard to secure financial support from others who share our passion to offer the training programme for free to individuals who would otherwise be deterred.

Because it’s a unique opportunity, competition to join the programme is fierce. All students will be expected to sign a contract of commitment which states that if they withdraw during the programme, they’ll be expected to cover the costs already incurred up to that date (exam fees, study materials, etc.) which are reinvested back into the programme to give someone else the opportunity.

How do I learn?

It’s a national training programme and all delivery is online. Learning is supported by e-learning modules, course books, and peer support from a community of fellow learners.

You will take the exams directly with the CII, which can currently be taken remotely (in the comfort of your own home) or in a test centre at a time and location of your choice.
