A leading healthcare organization in the United Kingdom is seeking a Trainee Epilepsy Nurse to join their Epilepsy Service. The role involves training in specialist skills for the assessment and management of epilepsy. We are looking for a skilled nurse to join our Epilepsy Service as a Trainee Epilepsy Specialist.
As a development role you will train and acquire specialist skills in the assessment, treatment and management of people with epilepsy. You will have a professional development plan co‑written with the Specialist Epilepsy Nurse. Within 1–18 months of starting, you will progress to Band 6 as a new specialist.
You will link patients with epilepsy, consultant neurologists and GPs, advising and monitoring medication changes. You will support the development of service pathways and contribute to quality improvement activities.

Please note: at this stage the role is open only to colleagues currently employed within Kent and Medway NHS Trusts and the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB). Nursing vacancies are also open to Student Nurses and Newly Qualified Nurses.
