Overview

Position: Trainee Electronic Technician

Type of role: permanent

Salary: £28000 to £32000 per annum

Location: Horsham

Working hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 16:30 PM

Our client is a well-established electrical repair workshop serving a diverse range of high-precision industries, including Aerospace, Defence and marine engineering, currently seeking to recruit a Trainee Electronic Technician to work for a well-established business based in Horsham. The appropriate candidate will demonstrate a passion for engineering, ideally in aerospace, electronics, defence or marine engineering.

Responsibilities
  • The appropriate candidate will be trained in carrying out electronic repairs to PCBs and electronic equipment, build test adaptors, carrying out soldering and fault finding following technical drawings.
  • Documenting all processes.
  • Carrying out basic metal work such as marking and drilling.
Qualifications
  • Genuine passion for engineering
  • Willing to be trained to become an experienced Electronic Assembly and Test Technician
  • Must have right to work in UK
  • Good level of English
