The ideal candidate will be confident setting and operating CNC machines ideally with some programme editing experience, any prior programming experience will be advantageous. Trainee CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator

• Setting and operating CNC Milling machines
• Editing programmes at the machine
• Shadowing engineers learning to programme at the machine
• Set and operate 3 / 4 / 5 Axis machines
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings
• Prepare and load materials and parts onto the machines
• Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications
• Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result
• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements
