A leading construction recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Traffic Marshall for a long-term role in Hessle. The successful candidate will manage site logistics, ensuring the safe flow of vehicles and pedestrians on a busy residential housing development. Key responsibilities include site access control, vehicle banking, and pedestrian safety. Candidates must hold a Traffic Marshall/Vehicle Banksman ticket, a CSCS card, and have experience on residential sites. Punctuality and excellent communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• A valid Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Banksman ticket is mandatory.
• A valid CSCS card is essential for site access.
• Previous experience working on a busy residential housing site.
• Must have your own full personal protective equipment (Hard hat, high-vis, steel toe boots).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safe and efficient flow of all vehicle and pedestrian movements.
• Manage entry and egress of vehicles at the main site entrance.
• Provide clear and safe guidance to drivers using hand signals or radio communication.
• Maintain segregation between heavy site traffic and pedestrian walkways.
• Work closely with the Site Manager to manage delivery schedules.
• Ensure compliance with site speed limits and safety protocols.
