Role Overview

As a TradFi Sales Expert, you will be responsible for originating, onboarding and growing relationships with institutional clients such as banks, asset managers, crypto‑native firms, hedge funds, market makers, proprietary trading firms and family offices.

You will leverage your 5‑10 years of experience in crypto markets and/or traditional finance to translate client needs into concrete solutions using Bybit's trading, liquidity and infrastructure offerings. This role involves a strong focus on new client acquisition, business development and long‑term relationship management.

Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Business Development
  • Identify, target and onboard new institutional and TradFi clients and partners (banks, brokers, asset managers, hedge funds, family offices, crypto‑native firms, etc.).
  • Lead the sales cycle and commercial negotiations from first meeting to signed agreements.
Relationship Management & Revenue Growth
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key institutional accounts
  • Deeply understand client business models, trading workflows and risk, etc.
  • Drive adoption and volume across spot, derivatives, liquidity, custody/settlement and other institutional products.
  • Monitor client performance, usage and satisfaction, and implement retention and upsell strategies
Market & Product Expertise
  • Maintain strong knowledge of crypto markets and trends, competitive landscape & trading venues
  • Collect client feedback and work closely with relevant teams such as Product, Liquidity, Finance, Compliance and Operations teams to improve our institutional offering
  • Stay on top of regional regulatory developments affecting institutional digital asset activity
Internal Collaboration
  • Work closely with various departments, attend external events to represent the firm for TradFi and crypto‑native potential clients
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth client integration, product improvement and go‑live
  • Contribute to internal forecasting and reporting for your client portfolio
Requirements
Experience
  • 5‑10 years of experience in crypto markets or digital assets, ideally combined with experience in traditional finance or banking
  • Proven track record of client acquisition and business development with institutional or high‑value professional clients.
  • Solid experience in relationship management: owning key accounts, growing wallet share, and maintaining senior stakeholder relationships
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong understanding of crypto market structure (exchanges, OTC, liquidity providers, derivatives, stablecoins, custody) and how TradFi clients interact with it.
  • Excellent consultative selling skills: ability to identify client needs and propose value added solutions
  • Solid communication, presentation, interpersonal skills & professionalism
  • University degree in Finance/Economics/Business
  • Excellent team player with a high spirit of motivation and commitment.
Language
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Fluent in at least one local Asian language, such as Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Japanese, or another major Asian language, depending on the target market.
Other
  • Ability to travel within the region to meet clients and attend industry events as needed.
  • High integrity, strong work ethic and genuine interest in digital assets and financial innovation.
