The Opportunity

As a Trade Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating global import/export operations whilst ensuring compliance to applicable global trade laws.

Job Responsibilities
  • Management of record-keeping requirements where applicable and preparation of analysis and material for review with supervisor on various inquiries.
  • Ensure classifications are completed properly, promptly, and in compliance with trade laws.
  • Manage day-to-day operational issues associated with global trade.
  • Interact with business customers to answer questions and solve problems; advise on global trade related issues.
Qualifications and Skills

International Trade: Knowledge of the markets, issues, regulations, practices and operations of international trade; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately in diverse situations. Level Working Knowledge

Standard Operating Procedures: Knowledge of established SOPs; ability to design, implement and evaluate SOPs affecting daily and strategic business operations to increase efficiency. Level Extensive Experience

Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision. Level Extensive Experience

Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze and determine root causes and create solutions. Level Extensive Experience

Managing Multiple Priorities: Ability to manage multiple objectives, projects, or activities with effective prioritization. Level Working Knowledge

Problem Solving: Ability to apply problem-solving knowledge to diverse situations. Level Working Knowledge

Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools and processes for gathering and reporting data. Level Working Knowledge

Trade Client Reporting: Knowledge of trading client reporting; ability to implement trade reporting practices, processes, technologies, and controls to clients. Level Working Knowledge

Degree or equivalent working experience desirable.
