Job description

I m supporting a national ITP who are looking for a qualified and experienced Track Safety Trainer to join their team.

The role

You ll be delivering PTS and Track Safety training to apprentices, new starters and existing rail employees, based mainly at their West Horndon site, with travel to employer locations across the UK when required.

What you ll be doing
  • Delivering PTS, DCCR and wider track safety modules
  • Training and assessing new entrants and experienced rail staff
  • Supporting learners through classroom, workshop and on-site delivery
  • Maintaining training records and compliance to industry standards
  • Working closely with employers to ensure training meets operational needs
  • Occasional nationwide travel to client sites (fully funded)
What they re looking for
  • Strong rail background with track safety knowledge
  • Experience delivering rail/PTS training
  • Teaching or assessing qualifications (AET/CET/DET, CAVA, Assessor, etc.)
  • Confident delivering to groups and individuals
  • Based commutable to West Horndon, Essex
