Job Title: Town Planner

Location: Reading (Hybrid working)

The Role

We are seeking a Town Planner or a Senior Town Planner with strategic land experience in the Reading area. This town planning position is with a town planning consultancy with multiple offices across the UK. As the successful Town Planner you'll be working on site promotion, planning applications and appeals on a wide variety of projects.

The Company

This company is a town planning consultancy with multiple offices across the UK working with public and private sector clients on various projects in sectors such as retail, leisure, residential, regeneration and strategic land. Currently there are 50 people in business and they are continuing to grow the team across all offices.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the planning applications
  • Give sound advice to clients
  • Help towards winning new work
  • Keep up to date with local planning policies
  • Research local plans
  • Attend Planning committee meetings
  • Assist team members
  • Create and maintain progress reports
Desired Skills & Qualifications
  • Degree in Town Planning
