The Role

As a Town Planner, You Will

  • Manage planning applications and appeals for a variety of projects.
  • Conduct site appraisals and feasibility studies.
  • Provide expert advice on planning policy and development opportunities.
  • Liaise with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Contribute to the continued growth and success of the consultancy.
About You

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a planning-related role.
  • A degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline.
  • Chartered Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or a clear pathway to achieving chartership.
  • A thorough understanding of UK planning policy and legislation.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach.
