Overview

TOOL AND DIE TECHNICIAN URGENT

We have an urgent requirement for a Tooling Technician with experience and are looking for IMMEDIATE START. We have a short-term, high-impact contract. If you're a precision-focused professional who can hit the ground running, we want you on board. This role is in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is commutable from most areas of the West Midlands.

Key Benefits
  • Salary: £40 per hour
  • Days - moving to shifts
  • Early finish Friday
  • 4 day working week when on rotating shifts
  • Lunchtime finish Friday when on days
  • Start: ASAP
  • IR35 Status: Inside IR35 - must be paid via an FCSA-accredited umbrella company
  • Contract Type: Ongoing
Responsibilities
  • Build, repair, and maintain tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures
  • Troubleshoot tooling issues to minimize downtime
  • Work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Operate and maintain milling machines, lathes, grinders, and other precision equipment
  • Perform quality checks to ensure tooling meets exact tolerances
