Overview

Are you passionate about sports and helping young children stay active? Join our team at Amazing Athletes JumpBunch of Southern CT as a Youth Sports Coach for toddlers and preschoolers. In this role, you'll teach children ages 18 months to 6 years the basic fundamentals of various sports in a fun and non-competitive environment, with a focus on encouraging healthy habits and building confidence while ensuring they have a great time. This position offers flexibility with part-time hours and competitive pay. Classes are typically held in the mornings and early afternoons, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Teach children ages 18 months to 6 years the basic fundamentals of various sports in a fun, non-competitive environment.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with parents, teachers, and staff at daycare/preschool locations.
  • Travel to different locations within the community (upwards of 30 minutes or more); long-distance travel will be reimbursed.
  • Keep classes safe, organized, and engaging; support program goals and activities.
Qualifications
  • Experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children (professional experience is preferred but not mandatory).
  • Positive attitude and love for sports and teaching young children.
  • Minimum age 18; must possess a clean criminal background check.
  • Reliable transportation for traveling to multiple locations.
  • CPR certification is a plus, though not required.
Schedule & Compensation
  • Job Type: Part-time. Classes are typically in the mornings and early afternoons.
  • Pay: Training pay - $17.00/hour; Fully trained pay - $21.00/hour. Staff are entitled to at least 1.5 hours of minimum pay each time they work.
