An opportunity has arisen for a TIG Welder to join a reputable manufacturing company specialising in the design and production of automotive components and accessories, particularly for original equipment (OE) applications.

As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for producing welded assemblies with a focus on aluminium components, ensuring adherence to strict quality standards.

This full-time permanent role offers a salary of £13.20 per hour and benefits.

You will be responsible for:

  • Using TIG welding equipment to fabricate parts and assemblies in line with production schedules.
  • Preparing tools, equipment, and components for welding operations.
  • Manufacturing components using jigs and fixtures according to works orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Supporting production tracking using shop floor data systems and ERP software.
  • Operating basic tube manipulation and fabrication equipment after appropriate training.
  • Following all Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures and regulations.
  • Inspecting finished parts and reporting any discrepanciesgrees to the Quality Assurance team.
What we are looking for
  • Previously worked as a TIG Welder, Production Welder, Fabrication Welder, Welding Technician, Wel der or in a similar role.
  • Prior experience in TIG welding, specifically with aluminium.
  • Background in a production environment, ideally within automotive industry
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
