CNC Recruitment is seeking skilled Welder / Fabricators to join a reputable client in the Bridgwater area. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced welders who take pride in precision, quality, and working independently within a structured workshop environment.

Location: Bridgwater
Pay Rate: DOE
Hours: 07:00-16:00, Monday to Friday
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Key Duties
  • Fabricate steel and stainless‑steel components from engineering drawings
  • TIG welding (particularly stainless steel) - core to the role
  • MIG welding where required
  • Set up and operate workshop machinery including bandsaw, pillar drill, rollers, and press brake
  • Carry out dimensional checks and basic quality assurance
  • Work to EN1090 standards and company processes
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
  • Support apprentices and junior staff
  • Accurately log work on the production system
Requirements
  • Consistently hands‑on welder/fabricator with recent, demonstrable TIG welding experience (particularly stainless steel) within a structured workshop environment
  • Recent TIG/stainless fabrication must be a core and current part of the role
  • Minimum 2+ years' fabrication experience
  • Able to read and work from engineering drawings independently
  • Quality‑focused mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Reliable, positive, team‑first attitude
