A well-known engineering services provider in Aberdeen is seeking a skilled TIG/Pipe Welder to join its Operations Team. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in TIG welding and strong fabrication knowledge. You will be responsible for various welding and fabrication tasks and will join a supportive team on diverse projects with a commitment to quality and safety.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in TIG welding across various materials.
  • Strong fabrication knowledge and pipefitting experience.
  • Experience with workshop machinery such as bandsaws and pillar drills (preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up and operating welding machines for assigned tasks.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and weld symbols.
  • TIG weld on steel, aluminium, and stainless steel components.
  • Performing fabrication and pipefitting tasks.
  • Operating manufacturing machinery including bandsaws and pillar drills.
  • Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
  • Operating forklifts as required (certification desirable).

Overview

Are you a skilled TIG/Pipe Welder with experience in carbon welding? We're working with a well-established engineering services provider in the Aberdeen area seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join their Operations Team.

You’ll be responsible for a variety of fabrication, welding, and assembly tasks – working with steel, aluminium, and stainless steel materials across a wide range of projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a workshop environment and be comfortable interpreting technical drawings to deliver high-quality work.

Main duties and responsibilities
  • Setting up and operating welding machines for assigned tasks.
