Job description

Alkanaah International Tours and Travel has proudly served as the appointed General Sales Agent (GSA) for Saudia Airlines for many years. Saudia is a globally recognized carrier and is consistently ranked as a Five-Star Global Airline.

We are currently seeking a Ticketing & Reservation Executive to join our dynamic and customer-focused team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage customer bookings and walk-in inquiries, overseeing the complete ticketing process.
  • Accurately handle reservations, confirmations, amendments, and cancellations for passengers.
  • Respond to inquiries from passengers, travel agents, corporate clients, and BSPs via phone and email.
  • Process reservations, mileage redemptions, ticket issuance, schedule changes, re-bookings, and re-issuance efficiently.
  • Update and maintain customer profiles and frequent flyer member accounts.
  • Communicate current promotions and assist customers with programme materials and forms.
  • Address customer feedback and complaints, coordinating with backend support teams for resolution.
  • Participate in strategic planning activities including needs analysis and budget input.
  • Contribute to identifying new business opportunities and sales leads during team meetings.
  • Coordinate logistics for ticket handling and related events.
  • Stay updated on market trends, airline requirements, and industry developments.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support operational efficiency and continuous improvement under the Quality Management System.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in reservations and ticketing, with a strong understanding of airfares and airline systems.
  • Ability to work independently, maintain patience, and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in air ticketing and Global Distribution System (GDS), particularly Amadeus.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of the Sabre system and proficiency in Chinese (to communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers).
