Overview

ThermaTech Operator

The Role: This position requires experience of removing paint and debris off brick walls on buildings using a ThermaTech machine or similar (Doff) and preparing pointing for the next level of treatment to the surface.

Minimum Requirements

• Must reside within 1-hour travel from Fulham, London SW area.
• Excellent communication, customer service skills and a keen eye for detail are essential!
• More than 4 years of Facade Cleaning Operative experience.
• More than 2 years of experience using a ThermaTech machine or similar (Doff).
• Experience using soft wash system.
• Experience with heritage or listed buildings.
• Must be a UK resident and be legal to work as employed in the UK.
• A full UK driver's license is essential.
• Required to work at different locations across the south-east.
• Applicant must be punctual and reliable.
• IPAF Certificate - desirable.
• PASMA Certificate - desirable.
• Must have exceptional punctuality and attendance.
• We are looking for an individual who is attentive, assertive, driven and able to manage their time and responsibilities effectively.
• Highly motivated and able to work on their own as well as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and pride in quality of work.

Duties & Responsibilities

• This position will work across our various departments i.e. Roofing, Damp and General Building Restorations divisions.
• Carry out specialist facade cleaning using the ThermaTech system, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and preservation of building materials, in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Use the unique ThermaTech cleaning machine to clean stone and brickwork without excess water and excessive pressure.
• It is important to use the specific ThermaTech cleaning process in order to protect buildings - the high temperatures and gentle pressure used removes mould, graffiti and discolouration and leaves stone or brickwork looking like new without any risk of damage to the building surface and without the use of harsh chemicals.
• Assess and prepare work areas, including protecting surrounding surfaces and materials.
• Conduct post-cleaning inspections to ensure the highest quality finish and report any issues.
• Adhere to company health & safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and security of the site and respect clients' property.
• Complete daily work reports, time sheets, and photographic documentation of works.
• Respond well to direction from managers.
• Ensure equipment is kept clean and maintained.
