A local healthcare facility is seeking a Theatre Receptionist to join their team. The role is part-time, covering 22.5 hours per week from Monday to Wednesday. Key responsibilities include managing visitors, providing clerical support, and updating theatre lists on the Ormis system. Candidates should possess communication skills and be able to work efficiently in a diverse team. This position is essential for ensuring smooth operations within the Theatre Operating Department.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join our friendly and professional team within the Theatre Operating Department as a Theatre Receptionist, covering a period of maternity leave. The post will be for 22.5 hours per week working Mon, Tue and Wed, 08:00 - 16:00. We provide care for emergency and elective patients across a range of specialities, including General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, ENT, Maxillofacial, Breast, Urology and Ophthalmology.
To provide an important clerical role to the operating department, which supports the co-ordination and communication of timely admission to theatres. To ensure that all changes to theatre lists are reflected on the Ormis system. To liaise with multi-disciplinary teams and departments. To receive patients from the Day case and Inpatient admission areas and from across the Surgical wards.
Chesterfield Royal Hospital is located in Calow, Chesterfield, situated on a green field site on the edge of the Peak District National Park. It is home to the Crooked Spire and is close to Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham, offering recreational activities and lifestyles. The hospital was officially opened by the Queen in 1985 and has expanded and modernised, currently holding approximately 550 beds. We provide acute in-patient and out-patient care for Chesterfield and the surrounding rural area of North Derbyshire, serving a population of approximately 350,000 people.
