Location: Manchester / Newcastle (Hybrid)

Duration: 6 Months

Day rate: £450 Umbrella Only

Clearance: 5 years unbroken UK residency required.

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced highly skilled Tester to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams driving technical excellence and ensuring successful project delivery through efficient and reliable testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain automated test solutions ensuring optimal resource allocation and utilization.
• Implement test automation best practices including modularity reusability and maintainability.
• Create and maintain automated test cases including unit integration and end-to-end tests.
• Execute automated tests analysing results and reporting on test outcomes.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestComplete) and tools.
• Experience in creating reusable maintainable and scalable test automation solutions.
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Bash, PowerShell) for automation and orchestration.
• Ability to design develop and maintain automated test cases including unit integration and end-to-end tests.
• Experience in implementing test automation best practices including modularity reusability and maintainability.
• Proficiency in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab, CI/CD, CircleCI).
