Test Technician

• Test Technician
• Office based in Southampton Hampshire
• 38000 to 42000 per year

The Opportunity

Im on the lookout for an ambitious individual to participate in the repair testing and commissioning of cutting edge roadside camera systems.

You will have a working understanding of various aspects of IT including traditional IP Networks troubleshooting software and fault finding hardware issues.

You will have the ability to conduct comprehensive testing on electronic components create step by step test documentation.

Training will be provided to cover any gaps in IT knowledge as well as being presented with opportunities to pick up additional skills and responsibilities.

Skills and Experience

• A background in testing electronic components
• Experience in setting up static IP address on local networks
• Experience of creating step by step test documents
• A keen interest or exposure to dealing with software issues (operating systems config files)
• A willingness to learn and develop your skill set in order to advance within the company structure
• Able to pass basic criminal background checks

Role and Responsibilities

• Undertake testing and repair of cutting edge camera systems
• Deliver remote support to field teams across the UK and Europe
• Maintain accurate technical and inventory documentation
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Comply with all safety quality and regulatory requirements
• Participate in installations testing and commissioning where required
