Dates: 4 July – 20 August 2022 (must be available at least 2 weeks in this period)

Role Description

As a non-resident coach, you will spend most of your time on court. You may be scheduled for lunch-time supervision duty. Under the guidance of a head coach, you will be allocated a group of 6 players and required to deliver the JMT Camp programme. Each morning, you will attend the Head Coach briefing to plan the day's activities. It is your responsibility to deliver the programme effectively, choosing appropriate drills and teaching points to develop your players’ skills and love of tennis.

As this is a residential camp, you will assist every second Sunday with player transfers and London trips, for which you will receive an extra £50 per day.

Typical Day
  • 09:15 – Coach meeting
  • 10:00 – Tennis demonstration with Head Coach
  • 10:15 – Tennis coaching (1 coach with 6 players on 1 court)
  • 12:30 – Lunch (sometimes court supervision)
  • 14:00 – Tennis coaching
  • 16:30 – Finish (or after-tennis supervision until 18:00)
