Job summary

A leading logistics provider in Luton seeks warehouse operatives for a temporary role. Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is desirable.
• Ability to undertake manual handling tasks.
• Experience with operating warehouse equipment is beneficial.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods in the warehouse
• Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
• Ensuring all stock is handled safely and efficiently
• Operating warehouse equipment (following training)
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse
• Completing documentation accurately and timely as required
• Complying with company health and safety policies at all times

Skills and Experience

• Previous warehouse, logistics, or similar experience is desirable but not essential
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
• Ability to undertake manual handling tasks and stand for extended periods
• Basic IT skills are an advantage
• Counterbalance FLT Licence
• Opportunity of a permanent contract available

Hours

Monday to Friday
9:30am to 4:30pm

Salary

£13 per hour
£13.50 if candidate has a counterbalance FLT Licence
