Overview

Temporary Transport Administrator. We are currently seeking a Temporary Transport Administrator to support our client’s busy transport office in Stoke-on-Trent for a 3-week assignment. This role requires previous experience in transport administration and the ability to hit the ground running.

Responsibilities
  • POD (Proof of Delivery) retrieval, checking, and filing.
  • Maintaining accurate records of transport documentation.
  • Liaising with drivers, customers, and internal teams to resolve queries.
  • Updating systems and spreadsheets with delivery and collection information.
  • Supporting the transport team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
Skills required
  • Previous transport administration experience – essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a proactive attitude.
