Looking for some seasonal chef work this winter

We’re Quarter - an independent group of 4 unique restaurants in Clifton Bristol. We’re looking for confident, skilled and fun chefs to join our teams on a temporary basis this winter. Contracts will start from approx. 17th November and run until approx. 22nd December, but we are also open to considering those who can work up to around 14th-20th December (rest assured no work on Christmas day!).

Key information for our Temporary Seasonal Chef positions

• Based at either The Square Racks Bar & Kitchen, No.4 Clifton Village or Pizza on the Park
• Flexible contracts from part‑time and full‑time options available
• Part‑time options include 20 hours per week or 27 hours per week
• Full‑time options include 42 hours per week, 45 hours per week or 48 hours per week
• Hourly rates range from £12.30 per hour up to £12.80 per hour depending on the level (commis to CDP roles available)
• Weekly rotas to include daytime, evening and weekend work
• Free meals on duty!

What will you be doing as Seasonal Chef

• Working in a busy but friendly and supportive kitchen team preparing and cooking our delicious Christmas dining menus (all prepped from fresh high‑quality and locally sourced ingredients)
• Ensuring the kitchen is kept clean and tidy during your shift
• Acting as a good team player as part of a friendly fun team

Who are we looking for in our Seasonal Chefs

To succeed in these roles you’ll be friendly, confident and a great team player. You’ll love to cook and be excited to provide our customers with excellent food. You’ll be able to hit the ground running and work at pace, maintaining high standards in all aspects of your role. You’ll be equipped with great cheffing skills at either Commis Chef or Chef de Partie level with a passion for food and the right attitude!

Ideally you’ll have some experience within a similar busy kitchen environment – whether that’s at Commis Chef or Chef de Partie level.
