Overview

Our client is offering an exciting temporary opportunity for a paralegal to join their team in Jersey. This role primarily focuses on an electronic discovery project involving the review of a substantial number of documents to determine their relevance. The successful candidate will work closely with leading legal practitioners, contributing significantly to the project's success until its conclusion.

Job Duties
  • Collaborate with a team to complete the electronic discovery project.
  • Review documents on the Relativity Review Platform to assess their relevance to ongoing legal issues, ensuring identification of privileged materials.
  • Carry out daily reporting and manage related document and electronic evidence collection administration as assigned.
  • Assist legal professionals and independent consultants in documenting evidentiary materials related to the case.
  • Support the partner and senior legal practitioners with additional tasks as required.
Job Requirements
  • A law degree or completed law conversion course from a recognised institution, or equivalent qualifications with three to five years of experience within a legal environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and respond effectively to emergencies.
